Over here in the UK Mc Donalds have recently started giving away WiFi access for free in an attempt to position themselves alongside the more upmarket StarBucks and Costa Coffee outlets. It is an approach that I think will find them quite a bit of favour. I have certainly used Mc Donalds a few times since finding out they had this facility and have spent a much more leisurely than normal burger, coffee and donut whilst I surfed the net.

All Mc Donalds ask in return is your name, email address and post code.

Do they have this in Mc D's in US ?
